The history of Ecuador is amazing and very extended. You can see a lot of "Inca" aspects e.g. the traditional clothes or the original language of Ecuador (Quechua). The Indian culture is very important in Ecuador because that is the original population of this South-American country. 
 

Roman-Catholic is the biggest religion in Ecuador and has a lot of impact in the society. There are a lot of old churches which is nice to visit. The biggest cultural city with a lot of catholic aspects is Cuenca, really worth it to visit.  
 

Ecuador is nowadays a republic, a country with a freedom of speech. Everyone is accepted in this country that has a lot of potential and innovation for in the future.
