COTOPAXI
The Cotopaxi volcano is one of the tallest volcanos worldwide reaching a height of nearly 6 km. It's seen as one of the most beautiful volcanos in South-America, visited by many people.
Activeness
The volcano had been a sleeping one until it came to life after some eruptions of ash in late 2015. To this day the volcano remains active.
For travellers there is nothing much to worry about. Quito (Capital) is about 30 miles from the volcano but it's still safe to travel.
